The Supercopa de España opens at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium on Tuesday 2 February 2027 with Real Sociedad against Real Madrid. The winners go through to the final on Sunday 7 February; the other semi-final, Barcelona against Atlético de Madrid, follows the next evening.
The tournament is played abroad by design. It has run in Saudi Arabia in recent seasons, but the 2027 edition moves to Türkiye because the AFC Asian Cup occupies the Saudi stadiums through early February; the Spanish federation chose Istanbul from seven bids, and the competition is expected to return to Saudi Arabia the following season.
The Atatürk Olympic Stadium is the largest ground in Türkiye at around 77,500 seats and has staged two Champions League finals, in 2005 and 2023. The Spanish federation has confirmed the dates and the pairings; kick-off times have not been published yet, and we update this page as soon as they are.

The Atatürk Olympic Stadium opened in 2002 in Başakşehir, on the north-western edge of Istanbul, and is the largest stadium in Türkiye with around 77,500 seats.

- Getting there
- The stadium stands in Başakşehir, more than 20 km from central Istanbul, beside the O-3 motorway. Metro line M9 runs to Olimpiyat, its northern terminus, inside the Olympic complex just north of the stadium; an out-of-station change at Olimpiyatköy connects to M11. From the centre expect at least one change and allow well over an hour. The area is residential and has few places to eat, so plan to eat before you travel.

- The stadium is ringed by its own car parks with 6,122 spaces for cars and 404 for coaches, split between the north and south ends, the east (Marathon) side and the west stand. On match days the approach roads and the car parks fill up well before kick-off, so the metro is the faster way in; if you drive, arrive early.

- Everyone is searched on the way in, and warning signs at the gates list what may not be brought inside. Turkish law (No. 6222) bans firearms — including licensed ones — and any other weapon, cutting, crushing or piercing tools, explosive, flammable or incendiary substances, drugs and alcoholic drinks at every sports event in the country. The bag size limit is set for each event rather than by the stadium: at the 2023 Champions League final nothing larger than A4 was admitted. Travel light and check the limit published with your ticket.
